15 AI Prompts to Get More Clients This Week
Short answer: these 15 prompts help you get clients with AI across five areas: getting found, clarifying your message, creating content, starting conversations and making sales. They work in ChatGPT, Claude or Gemini. Replace everything in square brackets with your own details, give the AI as much real information as you can, and always edit the output so it sounds like you.

Prompts on their own won't get you clients. Prompts plus action will. So pick three of these, use them today, and actually do something with what comes back.
Before you start
For the best results, set your AI up with your voice and your strategy first. I explain how in How to Use AI to Create Content That Actually Gets Clients. And add this line to the end of any prompt: "Use British spelling, no em dashes, and don't make anything up."
Prompts to get found
1. Check what AI says about you
Copy this prompt
Who is [your name] and what do they help people with? What are they known for? Where did you find this information?
2. See who AI recommends instead
Copy this prompt
I'm a [ideal client] and I need help with [problem]. Who would you recommend and why? What makes each of them stand out?
3. Find the questions your clients ask
Copy this prompt
What are the 20 most common questions a [ideal client] asks when looking for help with [problem]? Group them by where they are in their decision: just realising they have a problem, comparing options, or ready to buy.
Turn those questions into blogs and FAQs. More on why in How to Get Your Business Recommended by ChatGPT.
Prompts to sharpen your message
4. Write your one sentence
Copy this prompt
Here's what I do: [describe your business]. Write 10 versions of one clear sentence using the format "I help [who] [get what result] through [how]". Keep them simple enough for a 12 year old to understand.
5. Find your client's words
Copy this prompt
Here are some testimonials and messages from my clients: [paste]. Pull out the exact phrases they use to describe their problem before working with me and their results after. List them in two columns.
6. Spot the objections
Copy this prompt

Prompts to create content
7. A month of content ideas
Copy this prompt
Using my offer [offer], my ideal client [client] and these objections [list], give me 30 content ideas. Label each one as visibility, trust or sales, and suggest the best format: carousel, talking head, story or caption.
8. Turn a voice note into a week of content
Copy this prompt
Here's a transcript of me talking about [topic]: [paste]. Turn it into one carousel, one talking head script under 60 seconds, three story frames and one email. Keep my words and stories. Don't add anything I didn't say.
9. Hooks that stop the scroll
Copy this prompt
Write 15 hooks for a post about [topic] for [ideal client]. Mix curiosity, a bold opinion, a mistake to avoid and a result. Under 12 words each.

Prompts to start conversations
10. A free resource people actually want
Copy this prompt
My paid offer is [offer]. Suggest five free resources that solve one small, specific problem for [ideal client] and naturally lead to wanting the paid offer. For each, give me a title, what's inside and the comment keyword I could use.
11. Replying to a comment or DM
Copy this prompt
Someone commented "[comment]" on my post about [topic]. Write three short, friendly replies that start a conversation by asking a question about their situation. No selling.
12. Stories that start conversations

Prompts to make sales
13. Follow up without being pushy
Copy this prompt

15. Learn from your sales
Copy this prompt
Here's a list of people who enquired this month, what they asked, and whether they bought: [paste]. What patterns do you see? What should I change in my content, my offer or my follow up?

Frequently asked questions
Do these prompts work in ChatGPT and Claude?
Yes. They work in ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini and most other AI chat tools. The more real detail you give, the better the answers.
Why does AI give me generic answers?
Usually because it doesn't have enough information. Add your offer, your ideal client, examples of your writing and real stories, and ask it not to make anything up.
How many prompts should I use?
Start with three this week. One to get found, one for content and one for sales. Then actually use what it gives you.
