How to Sell Without Sales Calls
Short answer: you can sell four and even five figure offers without sales calls by letting a structured experience do the selling for you. Run a short, pre-recorded 5 Day Experience where every day gives an aha moment and an action step, pitch on day three, then follow up by email and in the DMs. People get to try working with you before they buy, so by the pitch it's an easy yes. My launches built this way convert at 10 to 12%, without a single sales call.
When I started my business in January 2020, everyone told me the same thing: if you want to grow, you do sales calls. Book the calls, get on Zoom, close the deal. There was one problem. I was pregnant, and then I had a newborn. I didn't have hours every week to sit on calls, and I definitely couldn't guarantee I'd be free at 3pm on a Tuesday.
So I moved my selling into DM conversations, then into pre-recorded experiences and funnels. It turns out the way I was forced to sell is exactly the way a lot of buyers now prefer to buy. Below is the exact process, the scripts and the numbers, so you can build it this month.
This is part of my ultimate guide to making sales every single day, which covers every way to bring in sales consistently, with or without calls.
Can you really sell high ticket offers without sales calls?
Yes. I've sold four figure offers this way for years, and you can do the same with five figure offers if the trust is there. What you can't do is skip the trust. A sales call works because someone gets to see you, hear you, ask questions and feel what working with you would be like. Remove the call and you have to give them that another way. You don't need the call. You need what the call gives people.

Why sales calls are holding your business back
- They cap your time. Every sale costs you an hour or more of your diary, so your revenue is tied to your calendar.
- They lose buyers who don't want calls. I once wanted to join someone's programme, but the only way to get the price was to book a call with their team. I don't book calls, so I didn't buy. Plenty of your ideal clients are the same.
- They slow everything down. Booking, no-shows, rescheduling, follow ups. The decision drags on.
Calls aren't bad. If you love them, brilliant. But they shouldn't be the only way to buy from you. And selling without calls doesn't mean selling without connection. We're in a trust economy, and people have been burned by courses they never finished. They want to know you first.
The numbers: why this works
The industry average conversion rate for a launch is around 1 to 3%: for every 100 people who opt in, one to three buy. The approach below converts at 10 to 12% for me:
- 100 leads a month at 10% is 10 sales.
- With a $1,000 offer, that's $10,000 a month, or $120,000 a year. With a $2,000 offer, it's $20,000 a month.
- Generate 200 leads and you double it. No calls.

The 5 Day Experience: a try before you buy
Gyms sell memberships with a free three day pass. Software has free trials. Supermarkets hand out tasters. Once someone has experienced something, the decision is easy. The 5 Day Experience is a free trial of you: a short, pre-recorded five day event that gives people a snippet of your core offer, so by the time you pitch, they've already experienced working with you.

Why pitch on day three? Days one and two build trust and get people a result. Pitch on day one and it's too soon. By day three, trust is high and momentum is at its peak, and you still have two more days to sell again.
How to sell without sales calls, step by step
Step 1: Write your one promise
Your five days must promise the same end result as your core offer, with a smaller scope. If your programme helps people add $10k a month through Instagram, so does your experience. Name it around the outcome, because people join outcomes, not topics.
Time: 30 minutes. Done when: you have one sentence: 'In 5 days you'll [result] so you can [bigger result]', and it matches your core offer's promise.
Step 2: Plan five 20 minute sessions
Long sessions lose people, and by pitch day only a fraction are still watching. Keep each day to roughly 20 minutes (here's why 20 minute trainings sell better). Every day needs one aha moment (shows them their missing gap, so they understand why they need you) and one action step (gets them implementing, because results build trust).
- Day 1: your story, why you're the expert, results, first aha moment and action step.
- Day 2: the next part of your method, deepen belief, action step.
- Day 3: more value, then your first pitch.
- Day 4: more value, pitch again.
- Day 5: bring it together, final pitch and a fast action bonus.
Time: A day to plan, two to three days to record. Done when: five videos of about 20 minutes, each ending with one clear action step.
Step 3: Build the opt-in page with a VIP upgrade
Give two options: the free experience (with limited time access) and a paid VIP upgrade with longer access or extra resources. You start making money the moment people sign up, and if you're running ads, the upgrades help cover them.
Rather not build it yourself? The Funnel Builder inside Ascendia OS builds your opt-in page and the VIP upgrade checkout in your account, ready to go live on your own domain.
Time: Half a day. Done when: someone can sign up free or upgrade, and both get a confirmation email with the start date.
Step 4: Set a start date and open a community
Have everyone start on the same day. You get the buzz of a live launch without being live. Add a community where people introduce themselves, share wins and hold each other accountable. When one person joins your paid offer and celebrates, others want to follow. That's peer selling. A co-coach or VA can look after it.
Time: 1 hour. Done when: the community is open with a welcome post and a daily prompt planned for each of the five days.
Step 5: Pitch on day three (and days four and five)
After the day three teaching, show them the gap between where they are now and the result, then invite them in. Use the pitch script below. Add a fast action bonus for joining in the next 24 to 48 hours, and make the deadline real. Here's how to pitch without feeling icky if pitching makes you squirm.
Time: 10 minutes at the end of each pitch day. Done when: the pitch is recorded, the sales page link works and the bonus deadline is written down.
Step 6: Replace the call with DM conversations
Instead of booking calls, have short conversations in the DMs before and after the pitch. Ask where they are compared to where they want to be and what's getting in the way, then tailor your pitch to their words. If they say no, ask why. It's the personal touch of a sales call in a fraction of the time, and you can train someone in your team to do it.
Time: 20 to 30 minutes a day during the experience. Done when: everyone who joined the community or replied to an email has had a personal message.
Step 7: Follow up, then run an encore
A lot of sales happen in the follow up, simply because people are busy. Email and DM after every pitch. When it ends, announce an encore: one more chance to catch any days they missed. Use these answers to the 5 most common objections when people hesitate.
Time: 3 days after the experience. Done when: every attendee has had at least two follow ups and an encore invitation.
Step 8: Keep a call option for the few who want one
The higher the price, the more contact people tend to want. Add one line to your sales page: "Want to chat it through? Message me." Let the buyer choose how they buy.
Time: 5 minutes. Done when: your sales page has a 'buy now' button and a 'message me' option.

After the pitch: Hey [name], loved seeing you in there today. Will you be joining us in [core offer]?
If they hesitate: Totally fair. Can I ask what's stopping you? Is it timing, money, or whether it'll work for you?
If they say no: Thank you for being honest. Would you mind telling me why? It really helps me make the next one better.
Copy and paste: follow up email after the final pitch

Laurie
Worked example: a consultant selling a $2,000 programme
Example (illustrative numbers): a marketing consultant runs a free 5 Day Experience and gets 250 sign-ups.
- VIP upgrade: priced at $27, 10% upgrade. That's 25 upgrades, $675, which covers a small ad budget.
- At the industry average of 3%: 7 or 8 sales of $2,000, so around $15,000.
- At 10% with 20 minute days, a day three pitch, a community and daily DMs: 25 sales, $50,000. Zero sales calls.
- Time spent: about 30 minutes a day on DMs and community during the five days, because the teaching is pre-recorded.

| Launch conversion, industry average | 1 to 3% of leads |
| Launch conversion with this structure | 10 to 12% (my launches) |

| Fast action bonus window | 24 to 48 hours |
Common mistakes (and the fix)
- Removing the call without replacing the trust. Fix: aha moments, action steps, a community and DMs.
- Hour long days. Fix: 20 minutes. People need to finish to see your pitch.
- Pitching once on day five. Fix: pitch on days three, four and five.
- A different promise from your core offer. Fix: same end result, smaller scope.
- No follow up. Fix: two follow ups and an encore. Busy people need a nudge.
- No evidence. Fix: share client stories, results and screenshots. If you don't have them yet, document your own results in real time.

Frequently asked questions
How do you sell a high ticket offer without a sales call?
Build the trust a call would normally build in another way: a short pre-recorded experience with an aha moment and action step each day, client results and stories, a community, and DM conversations. Then pitch once trust is high, usually on day three.
What conversion rate can I expect without sales calls?
The industry average for launches is around 1 to 3%. A well structured 5 Day Experience with strong follow up can convert much higher. Mine convert at 10 to 12%.
Do I need to be live to sell without calls?
No. Pre-recorded sessions of around 20 minutes work brilliantly, and they solve the drop off problem of long live sessions. A start date and a community give you the energy of a live launch without being live.
Are DM conversations better than sales calls?
For many buyers, yes, because they're quicker and less pressured. Ask where they are, where they want to be and what they're struggling with, then tailor your pitch. Offer a call as an option for people who want one.
What if I don't have testimonials yet?
Become your own evidence. Share your story, your experience and your results as they happen. That's what I did when I started, and documenting your journey builds trust while you collect client results.
Does this work for software or AI products?
Yes. Give free access during the five days and make each action step about using it. People see how useful it is and don't want to stop. When I launched a passive AI product this way at four figures, we had over 100 sign-ups.
