I found myself stuck in a cycle of starting and giving up on businesses.

I would start something and when there was a hitch, I'd run back to the safe corporate job. But in 2019, I took the leap again and walked away as Head of Marketing from 7-Figure Business with £700 in my bank account.

I decided to start a Business Coaching and Training business around my skills as a marketer and training. Within 6 months of starting my business, I was close to quitting again.

I was exhausted from doing constant sales calls to get clients and taking on lots of 1:1 clients. I was told this was the only path to build a successful business.

At first, it seemed like the easy route was to go back to corporate, but then something unexpected happened.

I got pregnant, and that's when I knew I couldn't go back to corporate.

I wanted to be a mother and my current workload of 1:1 calls and sales calls would have to go. I had to design a business that allowed me be a mother to my son.

I turned my expertise into a course which came naturally to me because 3 years of my corporate experience was creating course material and delivering courses in marketing.

But then, the pandemic hit, and I had to pivot my business strategies and offerings to adapt to the new normal. And just when I thought I had weathered the toughest storm, in 2021, I was hit with the devastating news of losing my dad and grandma within months of each other.

Despite all the setbacks, I'm proud to say that I'm running a successful business that allows me to be there for my child and help other moms achieve financial success and freedom.

Conventional business advice isn't designed for moms.

Typical business advice assumes that you have unlimited time, energy, and resources to devote to your business.

It just doesn't work for moms in business who are juggling the responsibilities of running a company while also managing a household. You can't 'delegate' your toddler's tantrum to an intern or 'multitask' a PTA meeting with a client call. Moms in business need advice that takes into account their unique challenges and offers practical solutions that work in the real world, not just the boardroom.

So, telling a mom in business to "work smarter, not harder" or "never stop hustling" just doesn't take into account the unique challenges that come with balancing motherhood and entrepreneurship.

Through my courses, certifications and mentorship, I'm empowering moms to build profitable 6-figure businesses without burning out. I want to show them that it's possible to achieve financial success and freedom, even while balancing work and family life.

Despite these challenges, I was determined to make my business successful. I knew that as a woman, I would have to work harder and be more persistent than my male counterparts. But I also knew that I had something special to offer, and that I could make a real difference in the lives of other women who were trying to start their own businesses.

Through my courses, certifications and mentorship, I hope to empower more women to take the leap and start their own businesses. I want to show them that it's possible to achieve financial success and freedom, even while balancing work and family life.
